What is a postpartum helper?In accordance with Articles 4 and 5 of the Social Service Utilization and Utilization Management Act, postpartum helpers will be dispatched to childbirth families to support postpartum recovery and newborn care. It provides services to help not only physical but also mental health through support for domestic activities such as health care, cleanliness, and hygiene of mothers and newborns and emotional support to empathize and understand their emotional conditions. Episode.1 What is a postpartum care professional certificate?A person who has completed a curriculum established and publicly notified by the Minister of Health and Welfare (Enforcement Rules of the Act on the Management of Use of Social Services and Utilization Rights)A person who meets the criteria for registration of a provider (postpartum helper) and who wishes to work as a government voucher postpartum helper (mother/neonatal health care specialist) can do so after completing the curriculum specified by the Minister of Health and Welfare. The curriculum is divided into courses for new students and experienced students (nurse, assistant nurse, social worker, medical care nurse).
